The Challenger Learning Center provides you with the opportunity to support your community, students and teachers attending the center for missions and many other types of organizations visiting the center. Every day that we are open, our dedicated team of staff and volunteers, continually strives to deliver a quality and world-class experience. Team work, a positive outlook and a well planned program provided in our modern facility, are the essential ingredients to our success.
After training and orientation, our Volunteers share their time and expertise with people of all ages every day the center is open. We fly more than 35 Missions a month and almost every Mission is guided by dedicated and trusted Volunteers, working in tandem with our Executive Director, Program Director, Teachers, Students and Chaperones.
We support many Community events and in 2010 - 2011, we are looking to expand our Community Events, Corporate Holiday and Meeting programs. However, we need your help! The center creates an exciting and refreshing environment for various community events and or companies of all sizes, and our volunteers play an important role in ensuring a successful event!
The Challenger Learning Center is truly for everyone, as our "Family Science Night" brings entire families together for a rewarding experience of exploring space and all of its wonders. Experiments are conducted, movies are shown, missions maybe flown, refreshments and food are served. Again, Challenger Learning Center Volunteers' play an important role in these and other public programs.
If you have you enjoyed a rewarding career in education, business or charity, and are now looking for a creative environment to contribute a few hours of the week, then we would be a great fit.
Throughout the year and in array of areas, our Volunteers provide all Challenger Center visitor's with expert and friendly assistance. Drawing upon the vast experience of our Volunteer's enables the Challenger to offer robust programs.
